To the north of the ranch, Meeker, CO provides gas stations, a grocery store, a hospital, and a couple restaurants and is nearly 1 hour away. Located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the southeast of the ranch, Glenwood Springs, CO offers much of the same as Rifle, but has additional amenities and activities such as the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the Glenwood Hot Springs.

For air travel, the closest airports that provide commercial flights are Eagle County Regional Airport located to the southeast between Gypsum, CO and Eagle, CO and Grand Junction Regional Airport located to the southwest in Grand Junction, CO, both of which are approximately 2 hours from the ranch. Another option for commercial flying is Yampa Valley Region Airport which is located approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to the northeast in Hayden, CO.
