Although the electric service is already in place, you do not have to use it. There are no rules against rain-water catchment or living off-grid.

This property is in an excellent location. It is only about an hour from this parcel to either the North or South gate of Fort Leonard Wood. It also only about an hour from the property to the larger city of Rolla, Missouri, which is home to Missouri University of Science and Technology. The smaller town of Houston, Missouri, is only about 20 minutes away, and Licking, Missouri, is only a short 15-minute drive. There are also so many state parks and conservation areas nearby. Just a short drive from the parcel is the Big Pinet River, which is a favorite of those that love to kayak, canoe, float, and fish.
