This land is for LEASE ONLY - It is NOT for sale.
The land slopes to the east from the cabin site down to a nice year around brook called Gulch Brook. It is heavy wooded with lots of pine and mixed timber. The buildings need a lot of work, but I think this would be a fun vacation spot or maybe even a good year around place for those who want privacy. If you want to make improvements that is fine. I will renew the lease for the same price for the next three years.
There is some trash on the property as well as the remains of a few old cars and a pile containing the remains of an old mobile home. If you clean it up you can sell or use whatever metal or other things you find. This is an outstanding parcel. It has everything you could want in a cheap recreational property. A cabin, a brook, lots of trees and great access. It is near a cool town and the Atlantic Ocean.
This wooded approximately 8 acre site is an excellent recreational parcel. It is about a half hour from the ocean. It is about 15 miles from Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia on the St Mary's River. Sherbrooke is a small town of about 500 with hardware store, three restaurants, grocery store, hospital, drug store, library, bank (with ATM Machine), garage and maybe best of all Sherbrooke Village (see map at bottom). Sherbrooke Village depicts a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to pre-WW1. With approximately 80 buildings over 25 of those are open to the public; it is the largest Nova Scotia Museum site. There is a woodturner shop, blacksmith, pottery shop, and printery. You can enjoy a delicious, light meal at the What Cheer Tea Room located within the Village. Sherbrooke Village reflects Nova Scotia as it was during its industrial boom in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Antigonish, a large town of about 5,000 is about a half hour to the north.
