Land Description
Farm 328
What a neat, clean and well kept broiler farm. It has four 43' x 500'
Wood truss/drop ceiling houses that were constructed in 2004 (updated
in 2021). The feeders and drinkers are Choretime with Ziggity nipples.
Chortronics 1/ controllers are used in this poultry operation. The houses
utilize propane for heat. A combination of brooders and tube heat is
used.
Two water wells provide an ample water supply but the farm is plumbed
with city water as a back-up. A 100 kW auto-start generator is ready for
an emergency power source. The farm has an Eco-Drum that is used for
bird disposal. There is a large stacker shed used for excess litter storage.
This nice broiler farm is contracted with Tyson (Waldron, Arkansas
Complex). They raise a target bird of 38 days and around a weight of
4.25 pounds. The placement varies around 32,000 per house or a total
of 128,000 per flock. The farm usually averages 6 1/2 flocks per year.
A Ford Model 1920 with front end loader, lewis de-caker, Priefert litter-
saver and bumper trailer remain with the property.
The farm has a very nice 16 x 80 mobile home (2008) with three
bedrooms, two baths with city water and a paved road frontage.
This farm has 40 acres (mostly pasture) that the seller runs cattle on. It
is fenced and cross fenced with one pond.
The last 3 yrs average Tyson income has been $229,697
