Placerville Ranch is 1,337 deeded acres located in San Miguel County, 19 miles west of Telluride and 11 miles southeast of Norwood, Colorado, and sits near the north boundary of the Uncompahgre National Forest.

Located in GMU 70, This unit is comprised of 871,086 acres, of which are 30 private, 70 public, 16 Usfs, 49 Blm, and 5 state lands. The ranch qualifies and is in the landowner participation program. The ranch's deeded acres are fronted by Beaver Creek Drainage, 28,586.18 acres of hard-to-access BLM ground and an additional 500,000 acres between Lone Cone State Wildlife Area and adjacent public land. The ranch is NOT under conservation easement, though it is fronted by lands that are protected from future development being under conservation easements.

Placerville Ranch is home to numerous ponds and lakes. There is a spectacular variety of terrain and fauna, from the incredible wetland bottoms to the lush aspen forest and protein-rich oak brush, making this ranch the perfect home to vast numbers of elk and mule deer. Substantial elk populations reside on the ranch throughout the summer and fall months. The ranch has exceptional habitat with adjudicated water rights for pasture the elk and mule deer love.

Placerville Ranch offers an excellent hunting lodge with 3-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms built-in 1986, a 30'X24' equipment accessories barn, and has on-grid electricity, a rare find for a ranch of this size. Recreational access to Southwest Colorado out of Placerville Ranch is exceptional. There are miles of 4wd trails into the San Juan National Forest and outstanding fishing for Rainbow trout in the many stocked ponds. Just a short drive from the ranch is Telluride, Colorado. Telluride Ski Resort has been a top-ranking ski destination in North America for many years. Along with its outstanding skiing is the quaint town with great restaurants and shops. Telluride is a year-round destination with festivals and events throughout the year.
