RecreationThis property is a great hunting property for both Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope and Grouse. The property does qualify for land owner vouchers for both deer and antelope with over the counter elk tags. Willow Creek meanders through the ranch for approximately 1.5 miles and is a good small fishery for Brook Trout. There are several entrance points into the National Forest a short distance away along with thousands of acres of BLM grounds close by. Through the creek bottoms and several open meadows there are sub irrigated areas with lush green grass for livestock and wildlife. The fences are in excellent shape to keep the livestock in on the parameter of the ranch.
LocationLocated in hunting unit 4 in northwest Colorado. The ranch is approximately 10 miles from the Wyoming border and 45 minutes from Craig, Colorado. The ranch sits in the valley between Bakers Peak, Black Mountain and Mt. Welba. The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is just over an hour from the property and Steamboat Springs is within 1 1/2 hours from the ranch.
