Other local attractions within an hours drive or less are Salida, Westcliffe, Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, and Royal Gorge Train. And in season you can pluck apples, apricots, peaches, crabapples and choke cherries right from the trees. The only drawback is that the house because of its age sits right on the ground but it has faired very well for over 130 years. This home definitely makes a great second home or vacation rental.
