69 Acre Vegetable Farm, River
280 Volio De Cachi : Orosi Valley, Costa Rica

Land Description
28 hectares (69 acres) farm in beautiful cove just outside Cachi. Was a productive coffee farm until the fungus hit in 2012-13. Most of the older coffee plants have been removed. The owner has leased the farm for the past couple of years and the folks are growing vegetables of different kinds. If you wanted to plant it back in higher yield coffee plants that are resistant to disease and fungus it is in good condition. This is a great area for growing high quality coffee.
One of our agents works for a coffee processing company say that it will cost about per hectare (2.47 acres) to plant new coffee plants.
Virgin forest area of farm. A crystal clear river runs along one of the borders, a small creek on another border. Interior roads in good condition. Springs begin in the virgin forest area. Grand views of Lake Cachi, Volcanoes Irasu and Turrialba. A private area with lots of potential. Elevation is 3700 ft near the river and goes up from there. Great temperatures year round. No need for heat or air conditioning. Electric on main road. This farm is just beyond the paved road on a gravel.
