Puffer Lake and surrounding acreage is located high in the Tushar Mountains 18 miles east of Beaver, Utah. The highway from Beaver is paved and the highway from Junction on U-153 is gravel and maintained in good condition. The area is entirely privately owned. Part of the acreage is Puffer Lake which covers 65 acres when full, with a maximum depth of 50 feet. It is at an elevation of 9,672 feet. While the lake is not particularly large, it is the largest natural lake found in the Tushar Mountain Range. This property is adjacent to Eagle Pointe Ski Resort (formerly Elk Meadows Ski Resort).
