Upson County is located in the Georgia piedmont. Rolling hills, hardwoods, and creeks are abundant. It should be noted it is above the gnat line. Quality Deer management is practiced by most in the area. The turkey population is prolific and the hunting in my option doesn't get any better. A 1950'S farm house is currently being renovated with modern touches while maintaining its original charm. Rustic barn has been renovated as well to keep its structure original while providing long lasting stability. The piedmont is generally red clay based with granite bottom. Roads are easily traveled by truck or atv. 2 private stocked fish ponds are located on property (one has dock and boat pavilion with a fish feeder). Mast producing hardwoods are embraced throughout the property with patches of mature planted pines. Approximately 30 acres was cut and thick enough to still provide bedding, food, and fawning.
