.39 Acre in Carbon County, WY
Medicine Bow, WY 82329
Carbon County, Wyoming
Land Description
This lot is a very small town with less than 300 people but full of small town charm. Medicine Bow was founded in 1868 as a Union Pacific watering station along the Medicine Bow River. These stations were very important at this time while steam locomotives used thousands of gallons of water to go just a short distance. These stops often ended up becoming local trading posts and a common gathering place. For this reason, the town built the three-story Virginian Hotel which was the largest hotel around and to this day it still stands and is still a running hotel. It has an amazing old-time western bar in it and is definitely a must see. Don't miss the chance to have it part of your home town.
