Land Description

Horse Creek Ranch is a place to get lost in. Private and well off the main roads this property has so much to offer. With miles of wooded trails, barns, pastures and so much more this property is perfect for horse lovers. The property is also set up as a major hunting tract with over 550 acres in the main property and an additional 2000+ acres that are leased by the current landowner. A must see equestrian / hunting mecca.LandThe property itself consist of 556.5 acres rolling terrain predominately covered with hardwood stands and a mix of pine. The food plots are established in clover with nice tower and ladder stands. Excellent road system with most roads shaded. A couple of creeks cut thru the main property that flow year round. There is a four acre pond that has been stocked and holds trophy largemouth and huge bluegills. Pastures are nice with plenty of forage for animals, good fences and gates.

ImprovementsThere are two homes on the property, both were built in the log cabin style on the outside. The smaller is around a thousand square feet and has two bedrooms, the larger is used now as the hunting lodge with bedrooms, a loft and a basement.

The shop is heated and has a bathroom with plenty of space to bring a tractor and implements inside to work on. It also has several lean-to sections for implement storage around it. Also there is a walk in cooler for hanging large game.

The horse barn is heated and has 4 inside stalls and a indoor arena for ground work. Inside there is also a tack room and a wash station for horses There are three additional stalls under a lean-to on the outside of the barn. The pastures have mostly four board fencing with wire behind it and some have a hot wire along the top. There is also a 48 48 hay barn that has a concrete slab that could be used for equipment.

Beside the 4 acre pond is a covered pavilion that is perfect for large gatherings. Open aired with columns it has the potential to hold large parties of guest. It is 48 x 24

RecreationMiles of trail, location and shade make this a perfect equestrian property. You can wear two sets of Tennessee Walkers out a day and still not cover all the trails on the property plus the leased area. Plenty of water from creeks and ponds along the trails and shade make it perfect. The terrain is not so rolling that its hard going but just rolling enough to make it a workout on any horse.

Hunting is awesome on this property. I saw four gobblers and a nice racked deer in velvet right off the bat as I came on this tract. With over 40 food plots and more oak trees than you can count on the property and leased area the food for deer is here. The plots have been established in clover and just need to be mowed and sprayed to maintain. No till plant over the clover in the fall with a grain and these plots will be ready to go. Mineral sites are allover the property and have been used for years. Some of them have literally been dug a foot deep in the ground. This property is a hunters dream.
