Taos County, New Mexico

Land Description
Take a look at this. Here's an affordable piece of what I call "Wheel Estate", yes you can drive up in your RV, Camper or Trailer and live on your own land as long as you can manage. No need for drilling a well or installing a septic system if your intent is to stay awhile and not build a permanent home. Then of course you would have to abide by the local requirements to obtain a building permit for construction. Most owners here don't build as the water table is far too deep to be affordable, besides you need 3/4 of an acre to meet the building requirements. So if you just want a piece of land to call your own that you can enjoy at your leisure without going through the expense of acquiring permits and the construction process then this might be the property for you.
I get many inquiries for such properties that meets just about anyone's budget, so here it is. I have a few dozen of these properties left and I anticipate that they will sell quickly.
2 Options to purchase:
1. Pay the full amount at once and receive a 20% discount. All you pay up front is that's it, no closing cost and I do all the submitting.
2. Make a minimum of a down payment and a month thereafter for the next 24 months and the property is yours 100%. If you pay this off within 12 months, I will knock off No closing costs which will include submitting the necessary paperwork for transferring title.
Taxes are cheap and are usually a year for one lot. I only own single lots but if you wish to be notified if the neighboring lots become available I can get in touch with you as the opportunity arises.
All you need to do to get started is either email, text or call with your name and permanent mailing address and I can take down your credit or debit card number and I do the rest. You will receive the recorded deed from the county within a few weeks. I will send you copies of what I submitted as well as maps of the property and how to get there.
This particular unit of Carson Estates is only 2 miles west of the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge along highway 64 connecting Taos to Tres Piedras. Tres Piedras is about 20 minutes north, Taos is less than 20 minutes south of the bridge.
This Unit is only 1 square mile in size and all the roads are cut in, some of which might be overgrown, however in normal conditions passage is no problem. If you Google Map the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in Taos County, you can get a satellite view of Unit 1 west of the highway and note the existing developments in the area, some of which are full time and others seasonal residents.
Taos is a very progressive county and they not only encourage but approve of alternative building methods including Yurts, Earthships, and Straw Bale construction to name a few.
So if you are forward thinking and want a new way of life, even if it's only for short periods of time, then this is the place. Taos is world renowned for its artistic and picturesque Architecture, great snow skiing and local indigenous peoples and the culture they and early American settlers have brought to this area making it a well sought after destination.
