Tres Piedras Estates is an undeveloped off- grid subdivision. Every property has platted street access. It is located near Tres Piedras, a small rural community located at the intersection of Highway 64 and Highway 285 in Taos County.

The Carson National Forest is west and south of Tres Piedras and covers much of Taos County. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains lie to the east and are New Mexicos highest mountains. The Abiquiu Reservoir, El Vado Lake, Heron Lake, and Eagle Nest Lake are all large lakes within an hours drive and offer boating and fishing opportunities. You can go llama trekking, or ride the rails in a steam train on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad or take to the air in a hot air balloon ride over the Rio Grande River Gorge. And afterwards you can relax at the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs.

If you were to use the property for a place to RV you would probably want to grade in a spot to park the RV and can do the road in while you have the equipment there.
