River Bend Duck Club North 567 Acr
Haynes, AR 72360
Lee County, Arkansas
Land Description
Located at the convergence of the St. Francis Floodway and Crowleys Ridge, this 567 acre recreational paradise hosts exceptional duck, deer, and turkey hunting. Just east of Haynes, AR, this property was enrolled into the Wetlands Reserve Easement WRE. Over 160 acres of waterfowl moist soil units were constructed and are irrigated by 1 well. These impoundments are managed for native moist soil grasses and can be partially planted in foodplots each year. This tract holds thousands of mallards, pintails and a variety of other duck species each winter. The remaining acreage in WRE was planted in oak and bottomland hardwoods. Many deer foodplots also dot the landscape. In addition there is a farmed soybean field along the river and along the northern boundary that pays an income.
The diversity of this tract is unlike most others. This property is bound on the east side by the St. Francis Floodway. Along the river is a long narrow soybean field. This field is traditionally farmed but acts as a major food source for deer and turkey. The west side of the property is Crowleys Ridge. The ridge is covered in mature upland white oak, hickory and beech trees. This property lies just north of the 713 Duck Club. The flights of ducks that travel between these properties is second to none.
This property also has a 1,120 sqft camp house that was completely renovated. This cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom with full kitchen and living room. The house comfortably sleeps 6. The cabin also has a garage to store hunting gear and ATVs. Waterfowl decoys and hunting equipment are negotiable.
Limits of mallards, Boone and Crocket bucks and gobbling turkeys. To have all on one property truly makes this a special place. To discuss this property or to schedule a visit, call/text Robert Eason at or by email at Email listed above
