Directions to Land

Follow 27-S to the south side of Cedartown. You will come to a split in the road; you will turn to the right onto 100-S towards Tallapoosa. You will stay on 100-S for approximately 6 miles, where you will turn to the right onto Steadman Road. (When you turn, you will see the first sign for Mtn. Creek Baptist Church and if you follow these signs it will bring you to within a mile of the house.) You will stay on Steadman Rd. approximately 3 miles to the first stop sign. Take a right onto Crossroads Church Road and go approximately 1 mile and the road will dead-end (there used to be a stop sign here, and it may be put back up), then turn to the left. When you enter Alabama it will be County Road 65. You will stay on 65 approximately 2 ½ miles until you reach County Road 123 on the right and you will take a right onto the gravel/dirt road. You will go across 2 creek bridges, up a long hill, and take a left onto County Road 224. (after the second bridge the next gravel/dirt road on your left) You will go approximately 1 mile and see Mtn. Creek Baptist Church on the right and a cemetery on the left. Stop here and look up to find the power lines. You will follow the power lines until they end at which point you will take a left & go through the gate. Go straight through the first crossroad and down the hill to our home.
