The Turner 103 Ranch is located just east of Tierra Amarilla, NM via Hwy 64 East. This multi-use property offers private hunting for elk and mule deer, summer camping trips or development of a home or cabin. Recreational opportunity in the Chama area include fishing, boating, hiking, biking, off road and wildlife viewing. National Forest is just a few miles away. Heron and El Vado lakes are close by as well the Chama and Brazos Rivers. Those looking to hunt elk would need to apply with the NM Game and Fish. Most all neighboring properties are enrolled in the EPlus program which is very favorable. Landowners in Unit 4 may also apply for Private Land Mule Deer draws on an annual basis. The ranch has one small earthen catch tank which holds water seasonally. Fencing is in good shape over all with piped gates at the Hwy entrance and south end. Several sites have been cleared for campers. The village of Chama is 20 minutes to the north, Santa Fe is just over an hours drive south.
