The lodge features 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, 2 living spaces, a gourmet kitchen, dining room, laundry room, a custom built bar, an elevator, attached garage, boat house, two trout ponds, and a fishing deck. The second lodge was built in 2007 and offers 4,500+ sq. ft. of living space including 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms with fireplaces, 2 dining areas, and additional amenities. White Oak Valley Plantation has 2 lakes. Blue Buck Lake is 60+/- acres and stocked with approximately 55,000 bream, 55,000 Threadfin Shad, 55,000 mosquito minnows, 2,000 pounds of crawfish, 1,000 pounds of frogs, 5,000 hybrid crappie, and 2,500 F1 Tiger bass. This lake has produced countless largemouth bass weighing between 10 and 16 pounds. East Lake is the second lake and is 10+ acres in a remote area on the eastern side of the property which is an excellent wood duck habitat. 2,800+/- acres of the plantation is high-fenced; covering approximately 14.5 miles making this the biggest enclosure in Alabama. Whitetail deer of unthinkable genetic quality have been introduced every year from the breeding program that has been established at White Oak Valley. The mixed stands of pine and hardwood along with the great nesting cover allows for an excellent turkey population. The flowing creeks, 300+/- acres of food plots, and the high fence lend to great turkey hunting and year-round predator control. Currently there are 25 to 30 conveys of quail on the plantation. In addition, a pre-season release program works very well on the ridge tops, where there are areas ready for re-establishment of long leaf pine and native grasses. Near the entrance of the property a barn/lodge sits that can be used for additional lodging. It offers 2,400 sq. ft. of space and was built in 2006. It features an office area, kitchen, bath, and living quarters. It also has a skinning area and hay storage above. A barn/stable is located by the barn/lodge and has 4 stalls and two fenced pastures. In addition, there is 100+ miles of trails meandering through the property for horse back riding. This is a must see property. Call our office today to schedule your private tour.
