Flint River Woods

Land Description

Flint River Woods is 175 acres located approximately 10 minutes south of Albany, Georgia. The bottomland on Flint River Woods is comprised of 110 acres of beautiful, mature hardwoods and is characterized by a heavy timber canopy with an understory of palmetto flats and thickets. The land has been managed intensively for deer and turkeys and antler genetics in this area are among the best in Georgia. The upland portion of the property contains 65 acres of 25 year old planted pines that are managed for wildlife and timber production. The property has over 2300 feet of elevated frontage on the Flint River providing access for many recreational activities: boating, kayaking, swimming and fishing for smallmouth shoal bass and bream.
