This is the Pine campsite and is one of just a few sites I am leasing. So you can camp, build a cabin, park your RV or whatever. It will be gated so access is controlled and your lease is renewable for as long as you want and it's a year round lease with no deposit!
This beautiful property has a collapsed cave that forms the walls for a small stream. The stream starts from a Spring in the side of the old cave. It is really neat and a great destination for a hike!
This unique spot is the only one like it that I have and the only one like it that I know about in the whole area. Also, there are tens of thousands of acres of Mark Twain National Forest within about 8 miles of this property. The old town of Vera Cruz is just a couple miles to the west where the road crosses Bryant Creek where there are picnic areas, canoe access, swimming and fishing.
The land is off Highway C about 17 miles south of Norwood, Missouri, which is on US Highway 60 east of Springfield. Also, State Highway 14, which is about three miles south of the property, and goes east to West Plains or west to Ava. Ava is about 12 miles west of the land (see maps below). Access is good and the county road is maintained year around. The area is very private yet only about an hour from Springfield or Branson. There are no building restrictions, building codes, or zoning so you can build a cabin or storage shed if you want.
This is Missouri recreation land at its finest. Lots of trees, some great views, a spring, a stream, and even the remains of an old cave-it's an outdoor paradise! There are several trails and a pretty good road across the land. There is also the remains of an old 1800's house (see photos below) So just park a camper, pitch a tent or build a cabin and enjoy life. The parcel is gated so only the people who belong there have per year, no deposit and a renewable lease!
