Our photographer said, “Driving to the property: Highway driving on 60 and 61 was uneventful. I turned left on Stanford Drive. The pavement turns into hard packed dirt and rock. I turned left on 8281 and arrived at the property. The road was easy going and a car would have no trouble getting to the property.

Traveling to the corners: I followed the GPS coordinates using Google maps, which took me along 8281 for two of the four points. The property is almost 100% flat, with a slight buildup on the east side. The area is very open with grasses and some juniper trees, which become thicker on the east edge of the property. Power was noted close by and some homes within a mile or so of the property were using Larson for their trash service. The neighborhood also has several wells set up to fill up cisterns. Cell reception was consistently 1-3 bars and 4G (Verizon). I received a phone call while on the property and had reasonable clarity.

Overall impression of the property: The parcel is in an excellent location that is easy to drive to, yet far enough back from 61 to have a secluded feel. The land is very flat, and it would take little effort to set up a foundation for a single-family home. I did note both horse and cow droppings and between the space and large number of grasses, a ranch house with an appropriate number of livestock could make a happy home here as well. The property is a couple minutes' drive to Show Low Pines well 2. It is a reasonable drive to a nearby general store and nearby Show Low has an abundance of shopping and restaurants.”
