Land Description
The Upland Bird Farm is the ideal recreational property for upland bird hunting including pheasants along with goose and other waterfowl hunting. Other wildlife includes mule deer, bald eagles, hawks, coyotes, fox, badger, and prairie dogs. This property consists of 367± deeded acres and features sub-irrigated wetlands with cattails, rolling hills, pasture ground, and irrigation canals. Two seasonal reservoirs also exist on the Upland Bird Farm. The 99± acres of flood irrigated farmland utilize a 15 hp pump from the main canal. The farm has been in corn and bean production, with an approximate annual cash rent. There is one fenced pasture for livestock grazing. The property is sprinkled with cottonwoods and boxelder trees.
