It holds water throughout the year for habitat. Islands are connected by water and ridges of land.
Recreation
Hunting is what this property is all about. A hunter could shoot ducks in the morning and hunt big trophy whitetails in the evenings. This area in particular is known for trophy bucks with deer in the 140-150 class possible. Duck hunting is spectacular with many different varieties of ducks. Turkey hunting is only what it can be in the classic south. Spanish moss, big swamps and gobbles that echo. Fishing is creek style with a awesome extra. Red fin pike are still in the Beaver Dam Creek. With a pocket full of rooster tail lures and a spinning reel on a summer afternoon you may never want to leave.
