Donalds, SC 29653
Greenwood County, South Carolina
Land Description
Mulberry Creek tract is a great timberland and recreation tract located in a clean, quiet country setting. It is big enough to allow for almost any activity and is about an hour drive from downtown Greenville. Greenwood's north side is about a 15-minute drive away with everything from Walmart and Lowes to Starbucks and Outback Steakhouse.
The upper end of Mulberry Creek flows through the tract and then along its southern border providing a great year-round water source for wildlife. A smaller steam flows along the eastern side also. About 20 acres of hardwood are near the streams and on steeper slopes. Two large powerlines cross the tract with about 5 acres in open right-of-way.
This tract has significant timber value with about 141 acres of planted and managed loblolly now around 23 years old. These advanced genetics trees have been fertilized and thinned. A 7-year-old stand of vigorous young pine covers about 81 acres of the land.
The property is about 14 miles from Greenwood, 28 miles from Anderson, and 46 miles from Greenville. All distances are approximate road miles to the center of town.
