This is a beautiful property in the Toano Mountain Range of Elko County, Nevada that is secluded and off the grid. There are 2 roads that come near to the property which gets you from Montello in 30 minutes but from the road you need to go by horse, mountain bike, Atv, or hike in approximately 0.5 miles to get to the borders.

We accessed the property using the road that goes due south from the interstate rather than traveling through Pilot Valley. There are some fence posts that show that someone staked out property to the west but it is long abandoned.

This is very mountainous and great for a base camp for hunting, camping, and riding the range. There are many signs of wildlife including tracks, trails, and scat. Wildflowers dot the mountainside. We saw pink Indian Paint Brush, Purple Lady Slippers, and small white and yellow flowers. Juniper and other evergreen trees are mixed with prairie grass and sage brush.

Go approximately 0.5 miles west, and you will reach the border of the property.
