The tract is more or less rectangular in shape and contains 2.72 acres +/-, subject to an existing 0.66 acre +/- easement granted to the Oakland County Water Resource Commissioner. The easement runs east-west across the northern edge of the tract.
An "Application to Purchase and Agreement of Sale" or "License Agreement" will be sent to the successful bidder after the close of the auction. The successful bidder must submit a signed "Application to Purchase and Agreement of Sale" or "License Agreement" along with the either the deposit or full sale price to Mdot within 30 days of the auction closing. A deposit of or the purchase price, whichever is lower, is required to be returned with the "Application to Purchase and Agreement of Sale" or "License Agreement." Bid deposits may be in the form of Certified check, Cashier's check, Personal check or Money order, payable to the "State of Michigan".
MDOT reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive defects in the bidding. All sales are subject to final approval by Mdot. Instruments of conveyance shall be drafted with the names of the parties exactly as printed on the signed "Application to Purchase and Agreement of Sale". Corporations must state where incorporated and provide Articles of Incorporation prior to closing.
