The East Little Cornie Creek Tract 03019-03621 is a +/- 100-Acre tract of timberland located in southeastern Columbia County about eleven miles east-southeast of Emerson, AR North 33.045703, West 93.012701. The topography consists of upland hills sloping downwards in a westerly direction where an intermittent creek drain flows southerly along the western edge of the tract. Access to the property is available via unimproved woods road running south from Columbia RD 421, about 700 yards to the western portion of the property. About 18 acres were planted with loblolly pine in the early 1990S and first-thinned in 2005. Nearly forty acres were harvested in 2005 and have been allowed to regnerate naturally back with mostly pine in the southern portion and mostly hardwood in the northern portion. A small pond about 4-5 acres in size exists in the middle of the property to provide both fishing potential and a source of water for wildlife. The property features pproximately 38 acres of well-drained natural hardwood. According to the Usda Nrcs web soil survey, the soils consist of an assortment of silt-loam and fine sandy-loams that give the tract a weighted average site index of 87.3 feet for Loblolly Pine base age 50.
