The trout farm itself has a flow through water system with 10 ponds and 15 separate Artesian wells that each generate 200-250 gallons of water per minute. There are currently approximately 150,000 fish on site that regenerate every 1.5 years from egg to sale. Peak processing was 3,000 - 4,000 pounds of fish processed each week which is roughly 70,000 fish per year.
Situated on 89.98 acres, the parcels are irregular in shape with 1,828 feet of frontage along W. Michigan Ave. The offering includes two adjacent parcels with 70-acres being rectangular and the remaining 20 acres irregular in shape. It is mostly wetland or water features and wooded areas, about 25 acres of flat, open areas.
