The Radio Tower RD 80 03019-03477 is an 80-acre parcel of timberland in Ouachita County located about 5 miles northwest of Camden, AR. The majority of the tract - over 75 acres - was planted in pine around 2000 and first-thinned in 2012. A timbered creek drain containing a mixture of hardwood and pine covers around 6 acres wile a powerline right-of-way crossing the southwest corner covers an additional acre. This diversity in its timber types makes it attractive as wildlife edge. The tract is very well-drained due to the hilly terrain of the area. According to Usda Nrcs soil survey information the tract is contains mostly Kirvin-Sacul association soils, which gives the property a weighted average site index of 81.8 feet for loblolly pine base age 50 years.
