The Powerline Tract 03019-03456, which contains approximately 40 acres, is located in the central part of Calhoun County, Arkansas, about five miles north of Hampton, AR North 33.608455, West 92.440238. The exterior lines of the property are marked with boundary line paint. Access is available via a gravel woodsroad that runs easterly for about a third of a mile from Calhoun Road 53 to the northern edge of the tract. A powerline right-of-way traverses the tract and connects to this gravel woodsroad. The topography is well-drained due to the gently rolling hills sloping towards a small intermittent stream. The tract was thinned roughly 10 years ago and is well-stocked with pine pulpwood and advanced pine reproduction. According to the Usda Nrcs soil survey information the tract is based an assortment of Amy silt loam and Guyton soils, which give a weighted average site index of 90 feet for loblolly pine base age 50 years.
