The Lawson Tract 035 is located about seven miles east of El Dorado, Arkansas, near the Lawson community 33.191509, -92.498977. Access to the property is via woods road running south from Nick Springs road for about eight-tenths of a mile down to the southwest corner of the property. The pine was first-thinned about five years ago. The topography is upland with a thin creek drain containing mostly hardwood runs through the middle of the property from west to east. A pipe line right-of-way crosses the southeast corner of the tract. According to Usda soil survey information the soils consists primarily of fine sandy loam soils that boast a weighted average site index of 89 feet for loblolly pine at a base age of 50 years. A timber inventory was conducted during the fall of 2015 and is available upon request.
