The property is very well watered for livestock and wildlife with an artesian well, three electric wells, one solar well, four spring developments, two creeks, four reservoirs and several undeveloped springs. Oil Creek runs through the southern portion and Skull Creek through the north.
The headquarters is located on Oil Creek Road with good year round access. Buildings include a modest three bedroom ranch home, 40' x 80' shop, historic hip roof barn, several open front sheds and loafing sheds. A new set of holding pens and working corrals constructed with galvanized continuous fencing is also located at the headquarters.
The wildlife habitat has been enhanced with the addition of new water sources and limited hunting. Area wildlife includes elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, and turkey. 300+ class bull elk are frequently seen on the ranch.
Since 2012, when a wildfire burned through the ranch, the owner has made great efforts to restore the property including new fencing, planting trees, clearing burnt trees from fence lines and main roads, new tire water tanks, new corrals, and much more.
