Matt is as Texan as they come...his family has a deep ranching history in North Texas. From his grandfather, Jeff McMurtry, a renowned rancher and cattleman in Archer County, to his uncle, the author Larry McMurtry, Matt's history with the land runs deep. He shares the same love of the land and Texas Heritage that his family carried before him. This passion combined with his "can do" attitude, have enabled him to become one of the top Farm and Ranch real estate agents in North Central Texas. He has been blessed to be a multi-million dollar producer since obtaining his real estate license. Since joining the Mossy Oak Family in 2008, he has earned the Mossy Oak Properties Pinnacle Club award, which recognizes the top agents per quarter, multiple times. In 2016, Matt was nominated for Realtor of the Year for the entire Mossy Oak Properties network, which consists of over 450 agents nationwide.
