Of the +-448 acres of operable ground, 309 acres is classified as old-field ground, which is ideal for fast growing pine plantations or conversion to agriculture.
Additionally, the property also provides very significant annual income through 2035 via a timber lease with Plum Creek, a leader in the forestry industry. Per the timber lease, the property will be left in good condition according to normal forestry practices at the lease expiration. As such, post lease there will be no non-forested clearcuts, and Streamside Management Zones and other sensitive areas such as inaccessible steep cove forest will consist of mature natural timber.
