McLeod Tract (2) 41 Acres Crenshaw County, Alabama Location: South Alabama, Region 11. Located three miles from Luverne, Alabama. Troy is only 20 miles to the east and Greenville is 26 miles to the west. Description: This is a beautiful tract of land with 17 acres in pasture and 24 acres in natural growth of hardwoods and pines. There is a small creek that runs through the woods near the road, which offers a good water supply for the wildlife. This property is on a dirt road, but it is not a county road. The one-mile long dirt road it is on; has no houses and the land owners chose to make it a private road to keep people from destroying the road with trucks and four-wheelers. There are two locked gates with combination locks for the land owners to access their properties, so there is great security with this tract. Recreation: What a great place to hunt. Deer and turkey populate the property, and since this is such a private tract because of the gates, you can put your camper in and not worry about it. The 17 acres of pasture offer you the opportunity to have a few cows, or cultivate the field for a great dove hunt. This can be a fun tract to ride four-wheelers or horses, and truly enjoy nature as God has designed.
Access: From the traffic light next to the post office in Luverne, take 29 east toward Troy and go two miles. Take a right on West Third St and go .1 mile and take right. Go one mile to dead end, take a left and go .2 mile. The locked gate will be on the right. Open combination lock and go .1 mile and the property starts on the right and goes for the next 1312 feet with ΒΌ mile of road frontage.
