LOCATION: Northeast Alabama. Piedmont is 10 miles to the south. Centre is 14 miles to the north. Gadsden is 25 miles to the west. ACCESS: From Gadsden take U.S. 278 east 17.8 miles and turn left onto County Road 19. Travel for 6.4 miles and turn left onto County Road 39. After ½ of a mile the Gowens Tract will be on both sides of the road.
