Location: Northwest Alabama; 2.7 miles south of Dora; Jasper is 20 miles to the west; Birmingham is 25 miles to the southeast. Description: This tract is an excellent timber investment and recreational property. There are two stages of planted pines 20 year old and 10 year old. The older stand needs a thinning right away and the younger stand is a couple of years from needing to be thinned. There are some open areas that could be grazed with livestock and there is a pond on the property. Power and water is available on this tract. Recreation: The Henderson Tract is an excellent recreational tract for hunting and fishing. Deer and turkey are abundant on this tract and the open areas would be a great spot for dove fields or introducing quail onto the tract. The pond has bass and bream in it and is ready to be fished.
Access: From Exit 78 on I-22 take County Road 81 1.4 miles and turn right onto Glover Road. Travel .1 mile and turn left. After crossing over the railroad the Henderson Tract will begin on the left.
