This Tennessee Valley Ridge tract is located 15 minutes from either Kingston or Oak Ridge, TN. It is well suited for a single family residence or for recreational use or hunting. The northern property line borders a 600-acre tract of private hardwood timberland. The tract is accessible via a 20-ft easement from Mays Valley Road, where public water and gas are available. Electricity and telephone service already exists along the easement. There is a small hunting cabin on the highest elevation with a beautiful view in the winter. The majority of the tract is hardwood with some cutting conducted during the past year, which opened a portion of the tract to exceptional views and serves as a beneficial wildlife habitat. This tract and the surrounding areas are overpopulated with deer. There is a small pond located in one of the drainage areas. The tract also features a spring area which would make an excellent impoundment.

Location & Directions

From I-40, take Exit 352 (Kingston). If traveling west, turn right off of the exit; if traveling east, turn left on Groves Valley Rd. Continue approximately 3.4 miles, turn left on Edwards Rd, toward Pine Ridge Baptist Church, go 1.4 miles to the stop sign and turn right. Go 1.1 miles to easement on left. A black fence will be visible along the easement. From Oak Ridge, start at the intersection of State Hwy 62 and State Hwy 95. This is also the intersection of Oak Ridge Turnpike and Illinois Ave. From this point travel Hwy 95 S toward Lenoir City. After approximately 7.7 miles Hwy 95 will exit to the right, stay straight here. You will be on State Hwy 58, proceed for .8 mile and turn right on County Rd 327. Go 3 miles and turn left on Popular Creek Rd. Go to stop sign and turn right on Sugar Grove Rd. Go to the stop sign, then go straight on Mays Valley Rd. Go 1 mile, easement is on the right, with a black fence.
