155 acres of land, mostly wooded featuring a half mile of frontage along Sugar Creek. The woods consist of a mature, mixed Indiana forest which has not been logged in over 40 years and not hunted for the past 30 years. The forest has a variety of trees including stands of Maple, Hickory, Walnut, Beech, Oak, Poplar, Locust, Ash, Sycamore and White Pine. The property has a variety of terrain changes with several miles of developed trails winding through ravines and creek beds offering high bluff outlooks along sugar creek. The east side of the camp borders a half mile of Sugar Creek. The west side of the camp borders Indiana State Road 234. The camp is conveniently located within 1 mile of the entrance to Shades State Park. Camp Talitha was previously used as a Girl Scout Camp and is well equipped with numerous improvements such as cabins, lodges, and all utilities.
