This is a multifaceted agriculture-tourism business. Revenue is derived primarily during Fall Festival from selling produce, mostly pumpkins, squash, apples, & a few others, some grown on the property some shipped in. During fall festival, we have vendors that pay for spaces and a percentage of their profits to sell their goods--mostly food & arts & crafts. Apart from the vendors, we sell ticket to the farm activities which includes, a 4 story castle, corn/hedge maze, peddle cars, giant slide and trackless train rides. The farm also sells food and gifts--caramel apples, pie (whole or by slice) & snacks & nick-knacks from gift shop. We have fresh air, clean fresh water, lush green grass and a gorgeous view of a mountain--a great place to raise a family--safe community good schools. It is a micro-climate with enough rain to grow most everything without irrigation. The home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathes, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, sleeping porch, pantry and an office area in the back. We work really hard for about 8 weeks during festival, and it is financially rewarding. The rest of the time we cost, do some maintenance, stock the store but mostly relax, go on long vacations.
