Riverfield is located in the heart of the Plantation Belt of Coastal Colleton County in a spectacular area of South Carolina known as the Ashepoo - Combahee - Edisto (ACE) Basin, the largest undeveloped natural estuary on the East Coast. This offering includes highly productive land that has been intensely managed for wildlife and timber production and provides an unusual opportunity to own a large, completely contiguous property on a major river. The landscape is diverse in nature. Upland pine hills gradually slope to productive hardwood flats that are dominated by mast producing white and red oaks. Nearly 20 acres of controlled water is planted and flooded annually to attract waterfowl. These ponds consistently produce a variety of wild ducks and there is ample room to expand existing impoundments or add additional ponds. A 10 inch well supplies water at a rate of 275 gallons per minute.
