Platte River Wildlife
North Platte, NE 69101
Lincoln County, Nebraska
Land Description
This lush wonderland on the banks of the North Platte River is home to a large number of white tailed deer, some mule deer, and turkey. The sloughs on the west side of the property provide open water in the coldest weather to large numbers of ducks and geese during the winter months. This area of the river has not been hunted for waterfowl for many years, so the numbers roosting here during migration have grown large. These same sloughs provide perfect areas for fish, and enormous Northern Pike and Bass are caught with great frequency. Access is provided by an easement road that leads to both the east and west ends of the property on the south side of the river. This hunting paradise offers over a mile of river, much of it both sides. The north side of the river is reached by riding an ATV through the river, which is easily done from late summer through the winter months. This north side is a hotbed for whitetail deer. This property provides a tremendous opportunity to own a fantastic mixed bag property just 10 minutes from North Platte. Legal Description To be determined by survey upon acceptance of Offer to Purchase.
