The Snake River Conservation Group is a members-only fishing club that offers access to the Snake River for trout fishing. The Pines Reserve lots overlook a portion of the Snake River that is owned by the Snake River Conservation Group, and very reasonable membership dues are all that are required in order to walk out your back door and hike to the river with your gear... not to mention the usage also of their entire 6 miles of the Snake as well! The Sandhills The Sandhills of Nebraska is one of the amazing topographical wonders to the nature loving.  And Cherry County is perhaps the best example of it. Vast is an understatement! And its rolling hills can be overwhelming, instantly making its visitors feel they are as far from humanity as is currently possible.  To walk it for the first time, one can pretend he or she might be in the Scottish moors or even parts of the Kalahari... maybe.  But soon it’s uniqueness presents itself and a love affair can begin for this inspiring combination of sandy soil, Big Bluestem, Dakota Switch, and Yellow Indian grasses, coneflowers, and Purple Prairie Clover.
